It's down to Ohio
With Mr. Bush leading the electoral vote 249 to 200 (according to CNN) it all comes down to Ohio and its 20 electoral votes. Fox News has already declared that State for Mr. Bush. If the American President has indeed won Ohio Mr. Kerry would need to win all of the other States that have yet to be decided in order to force a vote in the new Republican-controlled House of Representatives (where he would presumably loose.)
The Kerry campaign believes the final tally in Ohio will be close enough that provisional ballots that have yet to be counted will make the difference. Stay tuned. I don't think this ends tonight..
