Here's something you won't want to miss. MGM Home Entertainment is hosting a free screening of the "VIP edition" of Showgirls - the most boring film in history.
In addition to the free screening, the media launch of the "VIP Edition" will feature 'entertainers' Titi Galore and Nina Arsenault as hosts, and a Showgirls costume competition for audience members.
According to the media advisory for the event:
Packaged as the definitive party-in-a-box DVD set for the suggested retail price of $44.98 CAD, the Showgirls V.I.P. Edition comes fully-clothed with a "Pin-The-Pasties-On-The-Showgirl" game (pasties and blindfold included), a deck of Showgirls playing cards, two Showgirls shot glasses to be used with non-alcoholic beverages, Elizabeth Berkley photo cards and a series of party games.
I think I'll take a pass on this one...
