Bush turns the tables on his security detail
US President George Bush went from protected to protector yesterday in Chile when a member of his Secret Service security detail was ran into trouble with Chilean security officials. The Secret Service agent was forcefully restrained by Chilean officials as the American President arrived to dine with leaders of Asia Pacific countries at the APEC Summit.
Mr. Bush turned around and saw the melee surrounding his the agent. He walked over, dove into the crowd and pulled his agent through the door. According to CNN the President then "turned around, cocked his head proudly at his maneuver and began to greet his hosts."
There is no word on whether Mr. Bush will receive a Secret Service commendation for the rescue.
