Unilever makes a mockery of election
Seeing this year's election campaign as an opportunity to sell their products rather than an exercise in democracy, Unilever Canada issued a news release this week announcing the creation of a "new political party."
The "Carb Options Party" is a marketing gimmick thought up, no doubt, by some MBA who thinks he's really hot stuff. But given the media coverage (none that I can find), he isn't. Instead he's embarrassed himself and his company by trying to exploit an election to sell his company's products.
