Key Martin advisor helped McGuinty break his promises | Home | I want a bus!

Sound familiar?
Paul Martin has promised not to raise your taxes (sort of). But he won't cut them either. The government needs that money to invest in priorities like health care.
Where have we heard this before? Dalton McGuinty made the same pledge and went on the implement one of the largest tax increase in Ontario history. So sorry, Paul, your commitment rings hollow.
What makes sound even more likely that a Liberal government will raise your taxes is that, when asked by reporters, Mr. Martin tried to weasle his way out of it by saying that he's not the kind of guy who raises taxes.
A nice try, but not good enough.
