McGuinty backs down

Well, after a couple of weeks of flailing about on the Coffee Tax, Dalton McGuinty finally saw what was plain to the rest of us. You can't make a rock float on its own.

The Preem stuck to his nonsensical line about the tax being a tool to improve the health of Ontarians, but acknowledged that it was a blunt tool.

So you won't be paying tax on your morning coffee and bagel from Tim Hortons, but I have no doubt that when the Finance Minister hops to his feet in a few weeks and delivers the first Liberal budget you'll have to pay more for something.

Brace yourself...
